Why Haven't Cancer Research Led To A Cancer Cure?

It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month every October. We buy pink ribbons to support cancer research. You think you are doing the world a favor by giving away your hard earned cash.

Despite billions spent on cancer charities, there is no cancer cure. According to a New York Times article, the cancer death rate has only declined by 5% since 1950. The number of deaths for heart disease has gone down.

But for cancer, there is little difference. In 1971 Richard Nixon declared war on cancer. On December 23, 1971, President Nixon signed the National Cancer Act. The US government spent $100 million to find a cure for this dreadful disease.

But despite billions used on research, they haven’t found an antidote for cancer. Humans have created incredible inventions like the computer, cell phones, and airplanes. But when it comes to cancer, we still use toxic methods to treat cancer.

In the 20th century, we managed to invent all these amazing things. It can be hard to imagine that airplanes, computers, and cell phones are recent discoveries.

We take them for granted now, but they didn’t exist 100 years ago. If you look at the war on cancer, the fight is very disappointing.

How can humans be so brilliant in all areas of life but completely clueless when it comes to our own health? How can cancer be so hard to cure? Why haven't our donations to Breast Cancer Awareness led to any results?

In this blog post, I’m going to explain why cancer charities are a waste of your money. Let me explain why cancer charities only exist to create new patients. Discover why there will never be a cure for cancer as long as we let pharmaceutical companies run our world.

After you read this blog post, you will never donate money to cancer charities again. One of the biggest cancer charity scams are Susan G. Komen. 

The Facade of Breast Cancer Awareness And Susan G. Komen

Susan Goodman Komen died of breast cancer at the age of 33 in 1980. Her younger sister, Nancy Goodman Brinker promised she would find a cure for that disease. Brinker fulfilled that promise by founding The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

It has now become the largest breast cancer organization in the United States. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a multi-million-dollar nonprofit organization. In 2016 they had assets totaling over $347 million.

Komen’s mission is to find a cure for cancer. But nowhere on their site do they talk about how to prevent cancer. Only 21% of the money that Susan G. Komen received in 2010 went to cancer research.

Over half their money go toward promoting awareness and breast cancer screening. This awareness then leads to fueling the push for more mammograms. The organization gives its management huge salaries.

Brinker made $684,717 in 2012, a 64% jump from her $417,000 salary from April 2010 to March 2011. The Komen Foundation owns stock in General Electric. General Electric is one of the largest makers of mammogram machines in the world.

Komen also owns stock in several pharmaceutical companies, including AstraZeneca. AstraZeneca has long been a Komen supporter and having a visible presence at the Race For the Cure. The Komen Foundation endorses AstraZeneca's cancer treatment drug Tamoxifen.

The World Health Organization declared Tamoxifen as a carcinogen(causing cancer). Susan Komen's biggest sponsors are the corporations that profit from toxic cancer treatments. To them, Komen for the Cure isn’t about finding a cure for cancer.

It’s about promoting cancer so that they can sell more drugs and toxic treatments. Komen receives millions of dollars in annual revenue from corporate sponsorships. Some of the products they promoted even caused more cancer.

Komen Promotes Products That Cause More Cancer

In 2010, Susan G. Komen partnered with KFC who sold pink buckets of chicken “for the cure.” But the problem is that meat is one of the largest risk factors for getting cancer. So they want to receive money by giving everyone else cancer.

In 2011, Komen created a perfume called Promise Me. It contained hazardous toxic chemicals. The ingredients included galaxolide, an endocrine disruptor, and touluene, a possible carcinogen.

Komen also partnered with the Coca-Cola Company 2012 to promote their FUZE tea. Coca-cola is full of sugar, high fructose corn syrup, sucralose, and preservatives. Not something you want people to consume to be healthy.

In 2013, Yoplait held a campaign called "Save Lids to Save Lives." Yoplait is a yogurt company. They donated 10% per lid with a unique code which consumers could redeem. Dairy is full of toxic hormones and artificial chemicals all linked to cancer.

Companies that sell pink products know they get better public perception by doing so. And another benefit is increased profits. Some makers of pink products only donate the proceeds for a limited time.

These products may have a higher price tag and sometimes remain on sale after the trade period. Some product manufacturers also put a cap on the total amount of money that they will donate.

If they reach that limit by the time you buy your pink product, your purchase isn’t contributing a thing.

Breast Cancer Action, is a nonprofit organization that is against the pink movement. They coined the term “pinkwashing.” Pinkwashing is a compound word of the words pink and whitewashing.

Pinkwashing is when a company care more about the profits and loses sight of the cause. Many companies that sell pink ribbon products don't tell where the money goes. So the consumer has to trust that their money will go to good causes.

Susan Komen is not the only cancer charity that has fooled the public. One family scammed the public from millions of dollars and used more than 90% for themselves.

Reynold's Fake Cancer Charities Stole $187 Million From The Public

The next story I'm going to tell you might be one of the biggest charity scams recorded.

James Reynolds Sr. started the Cancer Fund of America in 1987. His son and other family member created other spin-off charities. Between 2002 and 2011 the Reynold family created several deceitful cancer charities.

Following in his father’s footsteps, James Reynolds, Jr. started two of these charities. He was a founding member, as well as president, of the board of directors of a third. James Reynold's ex-wife Rose Perkins ran the Children's Cancer Fund of America.

These charities claimed to provide direct support for cancer patients. But that was far from the truth. The Reynolds conned donors out of $187 million from 2008 through 2012. They used almost nothing to help cancer patients.

Instead, they spent the money for vehicles, college tuition, luxury cruises and more. About 90% of the funds went to expenses. On their tax returns, each charity said that they donated goods to overseas locations.

But they never owned any of the products in question. Instead, they paid a fee to a private firm in South Carolina to ship the goods, called gifts-in-kind. CNN went to Guatemala in early 2014 to investigate things further.

No organization in this country received these products. Charitywatch gave all these organizations an F grade. They are even earned a place in their hall of shame. These organizations luckily dissolved.

Even if the money goes to research, we will not get a cure for cancer anyway. Pharmaceutical companies are only interested in selling drugs not finding a cure. Let me explain how the cancer industry works, and why they are not interested in a cure.

Our Medical System Is Run My Drug Companies That Don't Want A Cure For Cancer

The man that made western medicine mainstream was John D. Rockefeller. John D. Rockefeller was a big oil mogul that owned 90% of the US oil market. His mantra was to get rid of the competition.

Rockefeller used his money to buy out part of the massive German drug cartel, I.G. Farben. I.G Farben was the same cartel that would later assist Hitler with chemicals and poisons. With the control of the drug manufacturer, Rockefeller took over the medical system.

He eliminated the competitors of Western medicine. By doing so he could sell drugs and radiation as treatment, and take over the market. These pharmaceutical companies are what we call Big Pharma.

Cancer is a huge industry. Big Pharma earns enormous profits by selling expensive drugs. The problem with natural remedies is that you can’t patent them. If companies could patent food, then they would control every vegetable.

These companies are so greedy that they don’t even care if their patients get well or not. Their ideal customer is someone who is half dead. These patients are sick enough to need treatments which earn Big Pharma more money.

Big Pharma is the biggest lobbying agent in the world. They pay representatives to influence the US Congress. They have several laws that benefit them. In 1984 the Drug Price Competition and Patent Term Restoration Act gave them exclusive protections for innovating a new drug.

If they brought a new drug to life, they enjoyed patent protection to monopolize the market. The Prescription Drug Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003 was another victory. This act prevented the government from negotiating prices with drug companies covered by Medicare.

As a result, they have a monopoly in the US. Big Pharma has lost all touch with humanity. They don’t care if children or parents die so long as they make a profit.

The money they receive from charities only goes to pay for the research of their deadly drugs. When the research funds run dry, they start a new charity event to pay for their costs.

Big Pharma is like the mafia. The mafia was famous for selling illegal drugs. At least the mafia was kind enough to let you live if you gave them money. Big Pharma, on the other hand, kills you even if you give them all your money.

Our medical system is all about drugs. They will never use a holistic method to treat diseases. Discover why we can't cure cancer so long as hospitals are stuck in this wrong mindset.

Doctors Don't Know How To Cure Diseases

I believe that most doctors have good intentions and want to help people. But the problem is that they only know how to treat symptoms. Doctors have never cured any disease, only suppressed them with drugs.

There is not even a real cure for simple things like high blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure, they will give you medications. Doctors don’t know anything about prevention or diet.

When my father's best friend had heart problems, they served him meat and other unhealthy foods. Meat contains cholesterol and saturated fat. It is a leading cause of heart disease in the world.

If you suffer from a heart problem, doctors won’t change your diet. You can eat a bucket full of french fries in front of them. The oil can drip down as you chew them. You can ask them, “Doc why do I have heart problems?” as you eat an ultra triple Big Mac with extra cheese.

If they have some common sense, they will tell you to stop eating junk food. But they can't suggest a healthy diet anyway. Most likely they will give you a cholesterol-lowering drug.

This is so sad because heart problems are easy to treat if you eat a plant-based diet. Caldwell Esselstyn is the author of the book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. Esselstyn published a case series of 198 heart patients.

He made them switch to a whole food plant diet with no animal products or oils. 177 patients stuck to the diet and the other 21 quit. Of the 21 patients who quit the diet, more than half suffered from heart problems within four years.

They either had a fatal heart attack, needed angioplasty, or a heart transplant. Of the 177 who stuck to the plant-based diet, only one had a major incident after the same period. That's less than 1% recurrence.

Sadly this is not how we treat heart diseases. Instead, hospitals give their patients drugs. Heart disease drugs do nothing to prevent further heart attacks. The American Heart Association even has recipes for meat on their homepage.

If we want to see a cure for cancer, then we need to be the change. Learn how we can end the war on cancer.

How We Can Win The War On Cancer

Not everything is horrible about western medicine. If you’re in serious accidents, then they can do a fantastic job to save your life. But if you have a severe disease like cancer they are clueless.

Doctors are one of the leading causes of death in patients. In my opinion, they are responsible for a majority of cancer deaths.

Humans are complex beings. When we live a life out of line of our natural principles, we manifest diseases. A drug can never cure a disease.

How can a pill be more intelligent than us? Drugs work if we believe they do. We can't win the war on cancer until we realize that we need to change first. If we expect corporations to give us the cure, then we will wait forever.

Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, talks about going to Mars. If we let pharmaceutical companies run our lives, we will get to Mars before we find a cure for cancer.

You and I have to take full responsibility for our health and life. When you educate yourself about the causes of cancer, you will never be a victim again. The Big Pharma will stop being your master.
